Another week, another "Ask Mario"

A few episodes ago, West Village-based humor writer Peter Schooff asked Mario why Carroll Gardens was proving so alluring to so many of West Village neighbors. Mario responded by telling Peter that his kind of hipster was not wanted in the nabe and he should basically stay put in Manhattan and not join the trans-riparian exodus. Such hostility served to only pique Peter’s interest — and he’s written back and tried to pick Mario’s brain about the best places in the neighborhood to get a slice of the local “flava.” Listen to this week’s Ask Mario here.
