You might have noticed the recent slow-down in articles on Bergen Carroll. It’s because nearly all our writers parlayed the exposure they received from Bergen Carroll and were lured away by bigger NYC publishers. If you live in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Red Hook or Boerum Hill, have a pulse on what’s happening in the ‘hood and like to put pen to paper (or words to website), please get in touch about joining the sexiest local blog in New York City. We’re at josh [at] bergencarroll [dot] com.

Today’s the big day when 20 states, including New York, hold their primaries. So get out to your local polling stations and vote!! It’s more important than ever this year.
Bergen Carroll has followed the primary from day 1 and believes in supporting a candidate that will do the most to reform politics in Washington and fix the damage that’s been done over the past eight years, righting the ship that is our country. We believe that candidate is Barack Obama. He represents the most objective, independent, open-minded leader who will weigh both sides of every disagreement and work to make good, informed decisions. He’s the least wed to special interests of the candidates before us and represents a fresh face that our country so desperately needs, both at home and abroad. We also believe he’s the most electable Democratic candidate, who can draw votes from both sides of the aisle. He has the rare and gifted ability to inspire brilliance in others, and to restore the sense of pride of living in America. We endorse Barack Obama for president!
